Viscose is made of cellulose fibre, a component of the renewable natural raw material wood.
We exclusively use human ecologically certified viscose raw fibres, which are otherwise used in the hygiene and clothing industry as well as for baby textiles.

Wood grows from sunlight, carbon dioxide in the air and water. The cellulose fiber that we use to produce our hamsternest is the most important building block of wood.
At the end of the process, cellulose breaks down again into its starting materials and forms the basis for new plant growth.
